You have probably seen a theme in my blogs over the past few weeks. Sleep and then health. On Thursday, I started my tabata style training. Now as it’s only a few seconds per exercise, it sounds like it will be easy. But it isn’t. I started off thinking yup, yup and by the end I was sweating and breathing hard. It was seriously hard work but boy do I feel better!
My sleep pattern is still out of sync, but I am hoping that introducing the tabata style workouts, as well as taking a family camping holiday, will sort me out. I mean you can’t get a lie in when you have two small people up at the crack of dawn in a tent or a caravan and are active all day. To many, this doesn’t sound like a holiday but I can promise you it is going to be fun to the max!
I am a firm believer that my mental health is so much better when I am in shape and to make sure that I am a good commodity for my clients, I need to be in good shape, both physically and mentally.
I am planning to keep you guys up-to-date with my progress. I mean, I won’t tell you my weight and inside leg measurements, but I will be honest and let you know how it is going.
One last thing, I am speaking at Ignite Cardiff on 29th July. I will be talking on Stigma and why we need to talk. For the first time, I will be speaking very openly and honestly and if you are there, please say hi! You can (try) and get tickets here and, if you miss out, I will post the link to the video in a future blog post. If you want to look at past speakers click here for the videos.
