am really enjoying infographics. I love the way that you can use graphics and style to provide information. When I studied, I used to use colour and pictures to help me remember information for exams etc…
I use this now for work when I want to develop skills. I mean, there is an infographic for everything.
This shows all the information about Social Media in 2014. If these statistics were in a list, my brain, as with many others I am sure, would not be able to process and remember them as easy as I do these graphics. Some proof of this would be games like the logo game. Companies understand that having an image as a logo is usually more memorable than text, so why should learning be any different?
Visuals are processed 60,000 times faster than text. It only takes us 150 milliseconds for a symbol to be processed and 100 milliseconds to attach a meaning to it.
Have you thought about using these for your company? They could be useful tools that you are missing out on. If you want to talk about how I can help you create an infographic for your company, get in touch.
Just for fun, here is my favourite infographic!
