Hi, so this is my first blog post and I’m really excited! I did it, I launched Laura Jane PA.
So I guess like you do with an award speech, the first thing I should do is thank my family. Firstly, my husband, for standing by me, believing in me and all that rubbish. The key thing I want to say is this is the start of a new chapter and the reason that I’m doing the blog is to keep you readers inspired and, to be completely honest, amused.
I have in the lead up to launching Laura Jane PA met some amazing people. Not only people that I now the honour of working with, but people that I now have the even bigger honour of calling friends. I have asked if they will impart some pearls of wisdom into blog posts that will get you guys as inspired as I am by them.
Some of these are interviews with crazy busy people who have started their own companies, answering questions like: “what made you decide to finally take the leap and go for it” and “what was the best and worst part of starting up”? These are questions that I asked a lot when I was looking at leaving my full-time secure job, especially: “what made you decide to finally take the leap and go for it”. I feel that this is a question that a lot of people who are thinking about making that leap, will often ask.
I think there is a point where you have the ability and skill-set, you have the contacts, you may even have some work but until you take that step, you won’t have enough free time to take on the amount of work that you need to to make it successful. It’s like a conundrum inside a conundrum.
I want people to achieve their dreams. I want people to live the life that they want to live. I want people to go out and inspire people the way that they inspire me. That’s what Laura Jane PA is about. It is about freeing people up to achieve their dreams. It is about allowing people to spend time with their families again. It is about me achieving my dreams through others achieving theirs.
This is a really exciting and scary time and I hope that you enjoy every step with me but also are inspired by me and the other people blogging.
What this has proven to me is that you can achieve your dreams, you just have to believe it. Remember one thing that I was told, the first step is the hardest and it’s the one you need to be the most grateful for.
I look forward to hearing from you, so please follow me on Twitter @Laura Jane_PA on Facebook; Laura Jane PA and Pinterest; laurajanepa1 all very original names I know. I have set up a YouTube channel which I will release at some point in the future. Make sure you stay in touch. I love hearing from people and I feel that communication is the way forward.
Lots of love
